From the Getty Museum’s own description (https://bit.ly/3jIYwu0) : This portrait bust, probably found in Egypt, shows a man wearing a diadem decorated with a seven-pointed star. Traces of paint are visible: reddish on the hair and beard, faint blue on the eyes. The diadem was once gilded but little gilding now remains. The scan was done with 75 photos taken at the Getty Villa, using an iPhone SE. Photos processed in Agisoft Metashape. Texture delit using Agisoft Delighter, which unfortunately caused some of the polychromy to be lost. Decimated in Blender, maps baked in marmoset. Minor touch ups, including adding back some AO and making a roughness map, was done in Substance Painter. KNOCKER WHITE is a traditional Thames tug, built in 1924 by T. van Duivendijk, Lekkerkerk, Netherlands as CAIRNROCK, for Harrisons Lighterage Company, London. She was traditionally steam-powered. She later passed into the ownership of W. E. White & Sons, Rotherhithe, and in 1960 was renamed with the nickname of one of the White family. She was converted to diesel power with the installation of Petters engines, and alterations were made to both the funnel and wheelhouse. In November 1982, she was sold for scrap, and parts of her engines were removed. In 1984, after a 60 year working life, she was reprieved and became part of the Museum of London Docklands. Photogrammetry Scan of an original specimen from Fossilogic (casting rights holder), in Pleasant Grove Utah. Scanned using a Nikon D850 with a 35mm prime and an Xrite color chart. Images were processed using Adobe Lightroom and calibrated to the color chart in ADOBE RGB colorspace. Scan was completed in Epic Games Reality Capture. Scan geometry was processed in Autodesk 3ds Max using the retopology modifier to get to an accurate polycount to be subdivided to as close to 100millon polys as possible. Max was also used to unwrap into UVW layouts. The resulting retopoed and UVw’d geo was re-imported into reality capture and base color info was reprojected. The resulting geometry was imported into Maxon Zbrush for clean-up and minor restoration. Mesh Maps were baked in Marmoset Toolbag 4. Those maps and the maps from the reality capture were imported into Adobe Substance Painter for the creation of PBR texture sets for Sketchfab, Unity/URP, and Unreal 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 382952 polygons.

The Polonez ambulance/van is a light delivery vehicle based on the design and components of the FSO Polonez passenger car. Developed between 1985 and 1990 by the Zakład Samochodów Dostawczych in Nysa, the vehicle was intended to be mainly used for sanitary transportation. Over time it was to replace the outdated Nysa 522. The prototype had a mixed structure: the body front was monocoque, the cargo space was based on a frame. The roof of both parts of the vehicle had a flexible connection with a stress and vibration damper – a solution that was patented. This one was captured at abandoned airfield (aviation school) in Volchansk - 75km from my city. After Soviet Union collapse in 1991 this airfield has been closed, lots of aircraft stood there under open and guarded by few militaries. In 2013 all guards gone, and locals starts to disassemble aircraft. Now, there only fuselages left, a couple of helicopters remains one engine. Lots of L29 airplanes, An-2, Mi-2 helicopters. This place nowadays becomes some kind of museum. Hundreds of people visits it on holidays. I took around 2000 photos of helicopter, 1867 was good. Nikon d5300, 18-55mm@18mm kit, 1/160 s, f/8, ISO-125. It appears, that lots of photos are blurred, so I deleted them, but I still unsatisfied with remaining photos. A 3d model based on a museum example of a sten like submachinegun in the Polish military museum in Warsaw, the submachinegun or “SMG” was made by Edward Sitek a member of the Polish resistance during the Nazi occupation of Poland in ww2 most likely by hand and out of scrap metal with minimal tools. The design of the submachinegun is most likely based on the famous British Sten gun mixed with the Polish Mors smg, there is also from the looks of it some Russian ppsh 41 influence of the gun as the what could be a safety, fire selector or both look fairly similar to the ppsh 41s fire selector. Not much else is known of the gun as the museum exhibit does not tell you much, no idea what the fire rate was or in what cartridge it was chambered in, my guess is that it’s in the ever popular 9x19 parabellum or “9mm” cartridge as the dimensions seem right to me 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 48635 polygons.

For 137 years, England and Australia’s cricket teams have competed for ownership of ‘The Ashes’. The series of matches is so named following England’s unexpected defeat to Australia in the summer of 1882. A mock obituary in the Sporting Times stated that the body of English cricket would be cremated, and its ashes taken to Australia. During the next test series, played in Australia, a small ‘urn’ was presented to the English captain, Ivo Bligh. As part of a knowledge-share between the museums, we agreed to use our digitisation studio services to create a 3D model of the MCC Museum’s most iconic object - the Ashes Urn. Known as ‘the Home of Cricket’, Lord’s Cricket Ground contains the world’s oldest sporting museum and library, where much of cricket’s history is preserved and documented. Cairn Liath is an Iron Age broch that sits proudly on a rocky knoll and commands views over a long stretch of coastline. Broch’s are substantial stone towers or roundhouses only found in the far north of Scotland. They were constructed and used between 600 BC and 100 AD. This broch has a circular interior 10.2m in diameter and substantial walls over 5m thick; there was one entrance passage to the building. The walls survive to 3.66m high, but originally the building would have stood to a considerably height and had higher floors. A staircase to higher levels was built into the wall. The third Duke of Sutherland ‘cleared’ this broch in 1868 and some of his finds from his antiquarian excavations are preserved in the National Museum of Scotland. Object curated by the The Bishop Museum of Science and Nature (formerly the South Florida Museum), Bradenton, FL. This object (#A143), is from the Tallant collections received in c. 1940. This piece was noted by archaeologist John Mann Goggin as possibly being related to the Glades III Period in Florida prehistory (AD 1200-1763). Goggin only saw images and a drawing of the piece, and its true provenance and dating remain unknown. The small, 10.5 cm high piece appears to be that of an anthropomorphic owl. The National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC) embraces at its western edge, an exclusive archeological dye-house that dates back to at least the first century of the Fatimid period (A.D. 969-1171). The archaeological dye-house layout consists of three double-eyed rows, with thirteen basins in each row. In addition, there are thirteen single basins on the northern side of the dye-house supported by a brick wall, inferring that very end of the dye house from this particular side. Moreover, each basis is constructed of small red bricks, separated by a 50 centimeters alley, while each group of basins are separated by an alley of 20 meters long. A simulated Iron Age roundhouse at the Ryedale Folk Museum, North Yorkshire. Roundhouses are relatively common in the British Bronze and Iron Ages, seemingly representing a standard type of housing in most areas. The style continued to be used even into the sub-Roman period in some cases. This reconstruction is based on an example excavated at nearby Pickering Quarry. The common features of a roundhouse are the circle of timber posts joined by wattle-and-daub panels, and a roughly 45 degree pitched thatch roof. Here an impressive ‘porch’ feature has been interpreted, most likely used as a windbreak of sorts. 45 degrees was found by experimental archaeologists to be the most efficient design, and surprisingly strong. A hearth burns constantly in the centre, but there is no chimney as an updraft will allow sparks to start a fire, and besides the smoke discourages creatures from eating the thatch. The device was designed as a straight-seam machine for sewing light- and medium-weight fabrics such as canvas, silk, wool, and cotton. The arm was cast in cast-iron and weighed around 14 kg. A small inspection hole was placed at the back of the machine arm. The needle arm mechanism was covered with a shield. The KL 82/83 model presented here resembles the design of Singer #15 and Pfaff 30 machines. The devices were manufactured in two colours: black with gilded patterns or, as seen in the unit presented here, in a hammered grey coating. The presented item is a refracting telescope on a tall equatorial mount tripod. The tube is made of wood, the 8 cm diameter objective and the retractable eyepiece are fixed in brass rings at opposite ends of the tube. The spotting scope is attached to the declination axis, which ends in a spherical metal counterweight on the other side. The declination axis is movably attached to the hour-angle axis. The telescope was of compact size and offered quick disassembly, making it a convenient portable instrument. It was brought to the Astronomical Observatory in Kraków in 1834 by Józef Łęski. 3D scan of the mounted white-tailed eagle pair (Haliaeetus albicilla) from the Danube wetlands near Vienna. These birds were bagged by Crown Prince Rudolf on the 22nd of January 1889, only nine days before he committed suicide in Mayerling, Austria. The nest of the white-tailed eagles called eyrie can be as tall as four meters and is often used for many years. The white-tailed eagle pair with a fledgling at the center is Number 74 of the NHM Top 100 and can be found in Hall 29 of the NHM Vienna. This is a tribute to the English poet/painter William Blake (1757-1827) and his famous The Great Red Dragon and the Woman Clothed in Sun (1805-1810). Blake was commissioned to create over a hundred paintings intended to illustrate books of the Bible, and the painting is one of the 4 depicting ‘The Great Red Dragon’ in various scenes from the Book of Revelation. “And behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth.” - (Rev. 12:3-4, KJV) Modeling wise I took a half measure to push the depth, sculpted the overlapping details, but left the backside incomplete. The Initial animation was done in 2015 only made the devil’s wings spread out, and in 2017 I added addition animation for the lady to react in fear. The innermost coffin of three of Yuya from his tomb in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings (KV46). The tomb was discovered in 1905 by James Quibell and contained the partially looted burials of Yuya and his wife Thuya of the 18th Dynasty. Yuya and Thuya were non-royal nobles and the parents of Queen Tiye who was the Great Royal Wife of Amenhotep III and mother of Akhenaten. The coffin is currently in the Egyptain Museum, Cairo, Egypt. Created from 177 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T5i) using Metashape 1.5.5. The base of the coffin was unavailable for scanning and has been reconstructed using Meshmixer 3.5 with texture touched up using Blender 2.8 Texture Painting. Gilt wood shine on carrying poles with a recumbant statue of Anubis on top recovered from the so called “Treasury” room in the tomb of Tutankhamun (KV62) in the Valley of the Kings, 18th Dynasty. The Anubis statue is carved cedar covered wth gesso and black paint. The statue is pegged to the top of the shine which has a seperate board for a lid which slides to reveal an inner comparment, the front portion of which is divided into four smaller compartments. It is currently in the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square, Cairo, but will be moved to the new Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) sometime most likely in 2023. The shrine and statue are accession number JE61444 and Carter number 261. Created from 237 photos (Canon EOS Rebel T7i and Moto G5 Stylus) using Metashape and Blender. Photographed as single piece with lid seperated in Blender and interior reconstucted using photos from original excavations.
