The 3D model presents a digital twin of a theatrical costume for Glafira Alekseevna in the play “Wolves and Sheep” (1875) by A.N. Ostrovsky. The costume was modelled by using historical block patterns, 2D scans of textile materials and 3d scans of contemporary actors. Anthroscan, Clo3D, 3dsMax, PixPaint and SubstancePainter software programs were applied. The authors of the 3D model are Aleksei Moskvin and Mariia Moskvina (Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design). The authors thank prof. Victor Kuzmichev (Ivanovo State Polytechnic University), faculty members and students of Ivanovo State Polytechnic University and their colleagues from Ivanovo State Museum of Local History named after D.G. Burylin for providing data required for 3D modelling. He went up through the ranks to Captain. He was chauffeur for Jesse (Boots) Hutsell (Division Fire Chief) around 1970 and then spent his remaining years at Station 14, near the Children’s Museum. This is the Egyptian Revival Style mausoleum of Emil Winter in Pittsburgh’s Allegheny Cemetery. The model was created using Agisoft’s Photoscan Pro from 80, 18MP images taken on July 19, 2015 using a Canon EOS Rebel T3i and a 18-55mm lens. Still a work in progress with additional detail to add and geometry to fix. The mausoleum was built in 1930 and is a nearly exact duplicate of the one designed by John Russell Pope in 1920 and built for department store mogul F. W. This ornately carved sandstone monument, said to weigh 20 tons and standing 2 meters high, is at the Archaeological Park and Ruins of Quiriguá, an inscribed UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Department of Izabal, Guatemala. The piece was 3D laser scanned in 2019 during our extensive documentation survey at the site by our USF Libraries DHHC team. We utilized structured light scanners at various sub-millimetric resolutions on this monument. Petra is an Arabian city in the country of Jordan carved out of the sand-stone mountains in Wadi Araba. It was established over 2000 years ago and was the capital of the Nabataeans. The tombs and structures are now in danger of erosion due to earthquakes, floods and natural weathering and are thus in need of monitoring and documentation. 184 laser scans were captured for this site in 2013. The laser scanning survey of Petra, completed by the Zamani Project, is part of the Siq Stability project, which is a “Funds In Trust” project of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for UNESCO. It is managed by the UNESCO Amman Office and has as main partners Italian geological experts from ISPRA (Italian Institute for Environmental Protection and Research - Geological Survey of Italy), as well as geologists and a surveyor from the Petra National Trust.
