This relief carving is in one of the crypts at Dendera Temple, Egypt and has been interpreted by various fringe or conspiracy theorists and “alternate” history nuts as evidence of the ancient Egyptians having light bulbs.
However, that pseudoscientific interpreation is false. This is a depiction of an aspect of ancient Egyptian theology. The scene depicts the creation of the sun god in the form of a serpent surrounded by either an oval body of water or a magical (heka) field. At the end of the oval is a lotus blossom and stem. No need to create sensatial false explanantions when actual data is more interesting.

Been trying to push myself to create more complex hard surface models, so I spent the last few days working on this, a P08 Luger. An absolute classic of the World Wars, and a revolutionary design in firearms history.
Not 100% accurate or specific to any single Luger variant, I picked little pieces of aesethics from different models that I liked, but most of the details are there, functional controls are there, and the important silhouettes are all there.
I did design the model with “game ready” requirements in mind, specifically some of the requirements H3VR suggestions for model donations. Poly count is ~19k (poly count here is doubled because of the pair of Lugers on display). 4k PBR Metal-Rough texture sets.

The 3D model presents a digital twin of a theatrical costume for Glafira Alekseevna in the play “Wolves and Sheep” (1875) by A.N. Ostrovsky. The costume was modelled by using historical block patterns, 2D scans of textile materials and 3d scans of contemporary actors. Anthroscan, Clo3D, 3dsMax, PixPaint and SubstancePainter software programs were applied.
The authors of the 3D model are Aleksei Moskvin and Mariia Moskvina (Saint Petersburg State University of Industrial Technologies and Design).

Rune stones
The rune stones of the Viking period were erected in memory of the dead – mostly powerful people – and their honourable deeds. They were intended to be visible and were painted in bright colours. The stones often stood near roads or bridges, where many people passed by. They were not necessarily placed at the burial of the person they commemorated.
The rune stones bring us very close to the Vikings. Their inscriptions feature the names of the people who lived and died at this time. They also provide information about the travels, great achievements and sad fates of these individuals.
Rune stones are by and large only found in Scandinavia. Around 250 rune stones are known from Viking Age Denmark. Most of the Scandinavian examples are from Sweden, where there are over 3000 inscriptions.
