About the 3D Model:
This 3D model is a replica of an ancient Egyptian ceramic pot or flask from the late period (664-30 BC).
The 3D model is a piece of clay art ornamented with the carving of Hathor, the ancient Egyptian goddess of love and motherhood.
The pot was used in ancient Egypt to store beverages or as a decoration. To make the replica, ready-made textures and internal materials have been used to give this model is current look.

This relief carving is in one of the crypts at Dendera Temple, Egypt and has been interpreted by various fringe or conspiracy theorists and “alternate” history nuts as evidence of the ancient Egyptians having light bulbs.
However, that pseudoscientific interpreation is false. This is a depiction of an aspect of ancient Egyptian theology. The scene depicts the creation of the sun god in the form of a serpent surrounded by either an oval body of water or a magical (heka) field. At the end of the oval is a lotus blossom and stem. Another 1 and a half week project of a medieval heavy crossbow. Inspired after a portfolio critique and been wanting to create a medieval/fantasy inspired piece for some time now.
Modelling done in Maya with certain detailed parts such as the wood carvings and stock ornaments done with the help of Zbrush and photoshop. Textured with substance painter and rendering done on Unreal engine 5.
This might be my last project in a while since I have an actual full time job that I have to attend to, however I will be back with more projects in the future and will keep on improving my skills as required.
