The Warszawa M-20 model 200 passenger car, manufactured between 1957-60, is a version of the Warszawa M20, which itself was manufactured from 1951 on a licence from the Soviet Union but modernised by Polish designers. It has a design typical of the 1940s, with a classical drivetrain arrangement. An inline, four-cylinder flathead petrol engine is placed at the front and is connected to a three-speed transmission that propels the rear axle via a propeller shaft. The front suspension is independent. It has a multilink design with a stabiliser bar. At the rear, a rigid axle was suspended on leaf springs. The front part of the monocoque body has a subframe at the front to which the suspension and driveline components are mounted. The Boeing AH-64 Apache is an American twin-turboshaft attack helicopter with a tailwheel-type landing gear arrangement and a tandem cockpit for a crew of two. I was really curious on the particular art style the Valheim’s devs went for, so i tried to replicate it and make a scene for it! Had a real fun time on this one. Most of the texture here are made by downscaling to something between 50x50 and 100x100, depending on the size of the object, and then upscaling to a normal txt size (512 or 1024), keeping the hard edges of the pixels. This method specifically on the normal map is what gives really strange results that match the art style. A WWII radar station on Ward Hill, Fair Isle, it was a Coast Defence U-boat (C.D.U.) station which was the naval version of the R.A.F.’s Chain Home Low (C.H.L.) radar. Radar was used here to track shipping and surfaced submarines and at longer distances aircraft. Something that makes this site unusual is that parts of the antennas and their turntables still survive here. After the war the site was partially dismantled then some buildings/structures blown up with explosives. Damage to the floors indicate where some of the charges were set. Fair Isle is situated about half way between the Orkney Isles and the Shetland Isles off the north coast of Scotland. It is one of the best preserved Cistercian abbeys in Italy. In 1142 Guarnerio II, Duke of Spoleto and Marquis of the March of Ancona, gave the Cistercians a large area of land which stretched from the river Chienti to the river Fiastra. The monks, who work on the construction of the monastery, used material from the ruins of the nearby Roman town of Urbs Salvia. This church is dedicated to Santa Maria di Chiaravalle di Fiastra. Its architecture is in Romanesque-Burgundian style, and characterized by simplicity and austerity. The plain façade is adorned only with a rose window and a complex portal. The series of matches is so named following England’s unexpected defeat to Australia in the summer of 1882. Cairn Liath is an Iron Age broch that sits proudly on a rocky knoll and commands views over a long stretch of coastline. Broch’s are substantial stone towers or roundhouses only found in the far north of Scotland. They were constructed and used between 600 BC and 100 AD. This broch has a circular interior 10.2m in diameter and substantial walls over 5m thick; there was one entrance passage to the building. The walls survive to 3.66m high, but originally the building would have stood to a considerably height and had higher floors. A staircase to higher levels was built into the wall. The third Duke of Sutherland ‘cleared’ this broch in 1868 and some of his finds from his antiquarian excavations are preserved in the National Museum of Scotland. The Holy Lavra of Saint Sabbas the Sanctified, known in Arabic as Mar Saba is an Eastern Orthodox Christian monastery overlooking the Kidron Valley at a point halfway between the Old City of Jerusalem and the Dead Sea, within the Bethlehem Governorate of the West Bank. The traditional date for the founding of the monastery by Sabbas the Sanctified of Mutalaska, Cappadocia is the year 483. Today, the complex houses around 20 monks. It is considered to be one of the oldest inhabited monasteries in the world, and still maintains many of its ancient traditions. One in particular is the restriction on women entering the main compound. The only building that women can enter is the Women’s Tower, near the main entrance. In 2015 the HIgh River Auto Club purchased the building, which had been in storage, and installed it over the next few years in High river. In 2021 we scanned it for the project. It is a large space, with several additions, and led to complications. Rather than just upload the entire model (over 1.5 Gb) we are isolating someof the features and recreating a smaller version of the building itself to preserve the detail and character. The Bison plaquette of La Madeleine (Tursac, France), represents a bison that is licking its back. It was realized on bone through incision with stone pointed utils, and it dates back to the Upper Palaeolithic (ca. 17.000-10.000 BP). It was found during the excavations conducted by Édouard Lartet between 1863 and 1865, and now it is part of the permanent collection at the palaeolithic international museum of Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil. This model was realized through photogrammetry using Agisoft Metashape (ver. 1.5.3.). 180 pictures were taken of a resin replica of the piece, and the were processed and scaled using the software tools. The morphology of the piece impeded taking pictures of its base, which provoqued te model to not be closed in that area.
