The Bison plaquette of La Madeleine (Tursac, France), represents a bison that is licking its back. It was realized on bone through incision with stone pointed utils, and it dates back to the Upper Palaeolithic (ca. 17.000-10.000 BP). It was found during the excavations conducted by Édouard Lartet between 1863 and 1865, and now it is part of the permanent collection at the palaeolithic international museum of Les Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil.
This model was realized through photogrammetry using Agisoft Metashape (ver. 1.5.3.). 180 pictures were taken of a resin replica of the piece, and the were processed and scaled using the software tools. The morphology of the piece impeded taking pictures of its base, which provoqued te model to not be closed in that area. However, the main details of the piece are present 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 49999 polygons.
