Between 1930 and 1950 the Eamons family owned and operated a gas station and motel along Highway 1a, between Calagry and Cochrane. This version of the gas station was built in 1952. In 2012 it was moved to make way for theTuscany LRT station as the city grew past the motel.
In 2015 the HIgh River Auto Club purchased the building, which had been in storage, and installed it over the next few years in High river.
In 2021 we scanned it for the project. It is a large space, with several additions, and led to complications. Rather than just upload the entire model (over 1.5 Gb) we are isolating someof the features and recreating a smaller version of the building itself to preserve the detail and character.
