This relief carving is in one of the crypts at Dendera Temple, Egypt and has been interpreted by various fringe or conspiracy theorists and “alternate” history nuts as evidence of the ancient Egyptians having light bulbs. However, that pseudoscientific interpreation is false. This is a depiction of an aspect of ancient Egyptian theology. The scene depicts the creation of the sun god in the form of a serpent surrounded by either an oval body of water or a magical (heka) field. At the end of the oval is a lotus blossom and stem. No need to create sensatial false explanantions when actual data is more interesting. Created from 40 photographs (Canon EOS Rebel T7i) using Metashape 1.7.0. Photographed in January 2020 - Dendera Temple "Light Bulb" - 3D model by danderson4 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 24997 polygons.

Mortars and pestles have been invented in the Stone Age, when humans found that processing food and various other materials by grinding and crushing into smaller particles allowed for improved use and various advantages, such as hard grains could be cooked and digested easier if ground first, grog would vastly improve fired clay and larger objects such as blocks of salt would be much easier to handle and use when ground and pulverized into smaller pieces. Various stone mortars and pestles have been found, while wooden or clay ones would perish much easier during the course of time. Ancient Africans, Sumerians, Egyptians, Polynesians, Native Americans, Chinese, Indians, Greeks, Celts and countless other people used mortars and pestles for processing materials and substances for cooking, arts, cosmetics, simple chemicals, ceramics and medicine 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 11968 polygons.

The most famous pyramids are the Egyptian ones — huge structures built of bricks or stones, some of which are among the world’s largest constructions. They are shaped as a reference to the rays of the sun. Most pyramids had a polished, highly reflective white limestone surface, to give them a shining appearance when viewed from a distance. The capstone was usually made of hard stone – granite or basalt – and could be plated with gold, silver, or electrum and would also be highly reflective. The ancient Egyptians built pyramids from 2700 BC until around 1700 BC. The first pyramid was erected during the Third Dynasty by the Pharaoh Djoser and his architect Imhotep. This step pyramid consisted of six stacked mastabas. The largest Egyptian pyramids are those at the Giza pyramid complex. The age of the pyramids reached its zenith at Giza in 2575–2150 BC. Ancient Egyptian pyramids were in most cases placed west of the river Nile… Source: Wikipedia.org - Egyptian pyramids, Giza, Cairo-Egypt إهرامات مصر - Buy Royalty Free 3D model by LibanCiel 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 1039539 polygons.

The Great Sphinx of Giza is a limestone statue of a reclining sphinx, a mythical creature with the head of a human, and the body of a lion. Facing directly from west to east, it stands on the Giza Plateau on the west bank of the Nile in Giza, Egypt. The face of the Sphinx appears to represent the pharaoh Khafre. The original shape of the Sphinx was cut from the bedrock, and has since been restored with layers of limestone blocks. It measures 73 m (240 ft) long from paw to tail, 20 m (66 ft) high from the base to the top of the head and 19 m (62 ft) wide at its rear haunches. Its nose was broken off for unknown reasons between the 3rd and 10th centuries AD. The Sphinx is the oldest known monumental sculpture in Egypt and one of the most recognisable statues in the world. The archaeological evidence suggests that it was created by ancient Egyptians of the Old Kingdom during the reign of Khafre (c. 2558–2532 BC). The lighthouse of the City of Chania on the island of Crete is the most recognizable part of the city and one of the oldest in the world. It is 21m high build on stone base and is located at the entrance of the Ancient harbour’s pier of The Fortress of Firkas. Build by the Venetians at the end of the 16th century it was reconstructed by the Egyptians in the form of minaret during the Egyptian period around 1830-40. During the Turkish Occupation, the lighthouse was abandoned. The current lighthouse tower is mounted on a trapezoidal base which holds since the Venetian Era. The tower is divided in three parts: an octagonal lower part, the middle part with sixteen sides, and the third part which is circular. The lighthouse was leaning badly due to bombings during WWII and earthquakes but was renovated in 2005-6. Because we can never predict what historical turns waiting around the corner I belive its a monument of great historical importance that is worth preserving in a digital form 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 499999 polygons.

A handheld fan, or simply hand fan, is any broad, flat surface that is waved back-and-forth to create an airflow. Generally, purpose-made handheld fans are folding fans, which are shaped like a sector of a circle and made of a thin material (such as paper or feathers) mounted on slats which revolve around a pivot so that it can be closed when not in use. Hand fans were used before mechanical fans were invented. Hand fans originated about 4000 years ago in Egypt. Egyptians viewed them as sacred objects, and the tomb of Tutankhamun contained two elaborate hand fans There were many kinds of fans in ancient China. The Chinese character for “fan” is etymologically composed of the characters for ‘door’ and ‘feather’. Historically, fans have played an important aspect in the life of the Chinese people. They are still used today 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 27242 polygons.
