Something I actually made years ago, before all the fictional stadiums I’ve uploaded, it’s the first stadium I ever made with gangways & concourses inside the stands connected to access/exit ways, so despite it’s not as good as my most detailed stadiums (that’s why I prioritized the upload of more recent stadiums), is still pretty good, besides being a big step forward in my improvement process. This project started as a small desire to model something medeval. I started on the catapalt, and from there wanted to animate it. However i thought it would be fun to have a looping animation. This then spawned the idea to create a character who was determined to siege this tower after after he formed a sort of rivalry with the owner of the tower. I ended up adding a lot of addition props to the scene that i hadnt originally accounted for. I also removed a character from the tower, who i put a bit of time and work into, but he just didnt fit into the scene well enough (i may do a seperate/individual upload of that character). This was my first animation (in several years) of my own character, modeled and rigged from scratch. Im not really an animator, but i thought it would be a fun challenge to add in a character and fully animate them. Modeling and animation was completed in Maya and Zbrush. Wanted to try something a little more stylised this time round. I’ve been doing a bit of reading in to the art style and rendering techniques behind Team Fortress 2 (Over a decade old and still looking great!), and got the idea to adapt a basketball hoop i’ve been making. A silver elvish ring, showcasing a deep red garnet, set in a wooden and felt lined box. Created and textured in Blender. The engraving on the ring translates to water and life in Elvish. For this peice I wanted to create something that combined sculpting, traditional modelling and texture painting. I created a highly detailed ring with some deep engravings and then moved onto the ring box. I utilised the upper ring box to showcase a detailed ornate elvish drawing, and accented it with stars. Hello everyone! This is Gray Fox, the mysterious cyborg ninja from Metal Gear Solid. He wears an exoskeleton and uses his Fox Blade to slice enemies. I mixed up a bit some references to make his cyborg suit, the original concept art from Shinkawa, the first suit from MGS1 and the armor from Metal Gear Rising. This is an old model I made some time ago. Recently I decided to work on it again and try to do some texture work. The fort raises on the 37-metre high sea cliff outside the city walls. The people of Dubrovnik built the fort in order to protect the western sea access to the City, particularly from the Venetian fleet. Second university project, to create a floating island diorama Went for all assets having relatively low pollys to have a fuller, busy impression. My aim is to create a story by portraying a witch’s island of books, with her oragami birds and fish, aswell as her dragon Familiar. I tried to make most of the pages unique and included references to the dragon on a few of the books. Not too sure about the colouring, was intending to have far more pinks and turquoises to aid a magical feel but ended up rather brown. Willow trees are my favourite so went for a magical pink fantasy one. Struggled a lot with the composition of the island and in hind sight would like to move everything around, but overall semi-happy.
