A low poly Skipray Blastboat, from the Star Wars expanded universe / Legends. This older imperial ship featured a rotating wing, and in the post-OT era more often than not appeared with in rusty brown tones, often operated by bounty hunters or pirates, so I’ve included 2 different colorschemes with this one, aas well as a cockpit interior. I followed the top view proportions and scale of the original design, but I was curious to try a more streamlined look, with the front wings better integrated into the fuselage. I made a few other changes and also swapped on a turret inspired by the imperial troop transport as seen in The Mandalorian. The old official model was called a GAT-12 Skipray Blastboat, you could think of this as a slightly more lightly armed GAT-10 design, better at atmospheric flight. Still instantly recognizable by any EU fan! Economic prosperity in the city of Antioch, a vital agricultural and commercial center at the crossroads of the Roman Empire and strategically located on the N-S-E-W axis of the silk road, created an extensive middle-class population that was wealthy, sophisticated, cosmopolitan, and of course, liked a good party. Villas in this region were often opulently decorated with stunning wall frescos and floor mosaics, like this medallion of the wine god Bacchus. This floor mosaic was initially located in the entrance hall of a Roman villa as part of a much larger floor that included the similar mosaic also posted to this feed. As guests walked across the floor mosaic, these images of the wine god Bacchus and his “Thiasus,” or retinue of dedicated followers, would have created an atmosphere of wine-drinking revelry and merriment!
