Hey guys. After the success of my Ghostbusters Ecto 1 and Firehouse exterior scene, I decided to challenge myself with the interior. Using online reference of Engine 23’s interior, movie screen grabs and floor plans, I managed to get something that resembles the layout. The fun part was adding the details that made it look like a fully established business. This skeleton was donated to the museum by Dr. Julius Ritter von Haast in 1884. This specific skeleton is housed backstage, but complete skeletons of both a southern giant moa (Dinornis robustus, formally called Dinornis maximus) and another stout-legged moa are number 77 of the NHM Top 100 and can be found in Hall 30 of the NHM Vienna. So this is a little experiment I’ve been contemplating on, inspired by the food assets in Monster Hunter and Final Fantasy 15. I took photographs of an actual meal I cooked, and spliced them in Substance Painter with a few models I specially built from reference. Nasi Lemak is a traditional Indonesian/Malaysian dish, consisting of spiced rice, coconut milk/shavings, a portion of meat (chicken) and fresh prawns, sometimes accompanied by a fried egg. The hardest part was translating the lighting from Substance Painter to Unreal Engine, and I have recreated it as best as I can here in sketchfab. These egg-shaped jars were roughly 50 centimeters tall by 30-40 cm in diameter. The St. Johns Wreck, believed to be that of the 1564 galleon Santa Clara, carried at least 130 olive jars; most broke when the ship wrecked – we only know the number by tallying the surviving rims. This rim has an outside diameter of 9.2 cm, and stands 4 cm tall.
