Before buying for the avatar I would recommend having at least some experience uploading VRChat avatars through Unity. For the course Stylised Creation at Howest DAE I made this cute dog. This assignment was focussed on going through the whole pipeline (blockout - sculpting - retopology - UV Layout - texturing - presentation). This little guy was sculpted in ZBrush, retopo and UVs were done in Maya and I used Substance Painter for the final texturing touches. This character was made out of a concept by Lynn Chen.
