Canopic Chest of Tutankhamen in the Egyptian Museum, Cairo. The main chest and lid is carved from alabaster. Each of the heads is a seperate carved piece and form “stoppers” for each of four internal, carved depressions. These depressions housed small inlaid gold coffinettes each of which contained a mummified packet each containing either the stomach, lungs, intenstines, or liver. The sledge is wood covered in gold leaf. Created from 169 images (Canon EOS Rebel T5i) using Metashape 1.6.1 and Blender 3D 2.8. The gold covered wooden sledge was fixed/recreated in Blender as was the cavetto molding and lower portion of the lid. Further, the 4 metal staples each on the lid, chest, and sledge were all recreated in Blender. The front left human headed stopper was created by duplicating the rear right one in Blender. Fake exhibition of sythesized work mimicing the figurative painters: Neo Rauch, Julio Larraz, Luc Tuymans and Dana Shutz. All artworks of the 4 painters represented are fake — synthesized by the AI, Stable-Diffusion, on my laptop, as an experiment to explore the AI’s capabilities. The fake Stable-Diffusion work did have some affinities to the work of the 4 painters, and so I built a fake, rather large art gallery to show-off some of these AI-generated results. Of the 4 painters, Stable-Diffusion seemed to have tighter affinity to Rauch, Larraz and Tuymans, though results seemed to only harken the styles of the painters from around 2006. Training data is obviously bound to dated corpora, and so I was limited in my choice of painters for the show. The bathroom is at the back of the left-hand stairwell. Rauch occupies the top floor. Larraz is exhibited in the main section. Tuymans is at right of entrance and Schutz at left of entrance. All in the band are left handed, adding exclusivity to their band, and all fight with two-handed weapons. The Band are often paid to fight for others, and due to their popularity, they are wealthy men. This 3D data of Kokura Castle was made using photogrammetry. This is Avatta’s first attempt in using drones to make high quality 3D architectural scan. We have photographed over 1500 images from all directions and the data was processed using Agisoft Photoscan. Kokura Castle of Kitakyushu, Japan was built by Hosokawa Tadaoki in 1602. It was the property of the Ogasawara clan (from Harima) between 1632 and 1860. The castle was burnt down in 1866 in the war between the Kokura and Chōshū clans. Mori Ogai was based at the castle at the turn of the 19th-20th century when it was a military base. The keep was reconstructed in 1959, and the castle was fully restored in 1990. The Matsumoto Seicho museum and castle garden were opened in 1998. One of a couple of coils of worn continuous track, from some variant of the US Sherman tank. The earliest continuous track was patented in 1846 as an aid for steam powered traction engines, and was used on gun carriages in the Crimean War. The propulsion system gained popularity at the turn of the century, particularly under the Caterpiller Tractor Company, and was swiftly adopted by armoured fighting vehicles alongside the invention of the tank in the First World War. Based on photographs, I believe this section to be from a late model Sherman, possibly even the M-50 ‘Super’ Sherman variant used by Israel from the 1950’s. The split-section, steel exterior plates don’t seem to appear on earlier models or in European theatres, but let me know if you’re a tank nerd and I’ve got that wrong. This was a fun project to make, not only because of the classic gaming console but also the early 80’s TV. Admittedly, I never actually owned an Atari 2600, but my dear grandma had a TV like this for many years when I was a kid, so it’s sentimental to me. There are many textures included, but don’t let it scare you too much; they’re all appropriately labelled and easy to apply. A lot of them are 128x128 uniform color textures, which shouldn’t add much of an extra workload to your scene, and some materials share the larger textures as well. There are several cartridge materials included, and you can easily change the TV screen texture, so you could get really creative with what game is playing in your scene! Or you could have it not playing a game and just put your own video on there or something, anything you’d like!
