Fuente de la Cabeza de Buey situada en los Jardines Artigas de Gaudí, en el municipio de la Pobla de Lillet (Barcelona). Juntamente con las figuras de el Águila, el León y el desaparecido Ángel de la cascada, muestran el marcado caracter religioso del arquitecto al formar una cruz evangelista dentro de los Jardines. Esta figura en concreto simboliza San Lucas.
Para ponernos en un contexto histórico, cabe mencionar que los Jardines Artigas construidos entre los años 1905 y 1906, fueron un regalo del arquitecto modernista Antoni Gaudí al industrial sr. Artigas ya que este lo había alojado en su casa durante la estancia de Gaudí en el municipio debido a la ejecución de varios trabajos en esta localidad para el sr. This sculpture is the cenotaph (and empty tomb) of Francisco Moltó Valor who was the mayor of the city of Alcoy (Spain) in the year 1876 and an important businessman.
The sculptor was Lorenzo Ridaura (1871-1963) when he was only 27 years old. The work represents the three theological virtues: Faith, Hope and Charity.
La escultura es el cenotafio (tumba vacía) de Francisco Moltó Valor el cual fue alcalde de la ciudad de Alcoy en 1876 y un importante industrial papelero.
