Last week, I decided to create a model for #Swordtember2023, and I came across Yağız Kani’s concept art (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xYVz4E) while browsing ArtStation for ideas. I chose to model it, and it proved to be a great challenge for me. Prior to working on this concept, I had been studying anatomy and muscles in ZBrush. I thought this would be a cool idea and wanted to take the opportunity to create something new for the World of Warcraft universe. I thought of this idea because I wanted to take something that exists in real life and turn it into something that might live in the World of Warcraft, and I knew the Tuskarr would be a fun culture to delve into. Since they’re based on Walruses I came up with the Milk Delivery Sledge for transporting their milk across the icy places of Northrend and the Dragon Isles. I tried to make everything fit in with the Tuskarr aesthetic and had a lot of fun with it. I appreciate all the feedback I had throughout the process which allowed me to push the project further and I’m really happy with how it looks. Very happy with this one- a low poly pbr model of an A-wing, somewhere in between the Star Wars: Rebels and Return of the Jedi versions, complete with a low detail cockpit interior and pilot, and some of my best textures yet. The overall proportions and colorscheme are inspired by Rebels, but the engine tips, split nose and laser cannons are more like RotJ– really this design could go anywhere in the post-Clone Wars timeline. The glass material uses the same textures as the hull, so if you had a huge fleet and wanted to improve performance, you can apply the hull material to the whole thing to have opaque black shiny glass, and then you could delete the pilot too to save on his material. On the other hand, if you want to get fancier and add some refraction to the glass, the glass pieces are their own separate elements, so it is easy to select them and add a little bit of thickness with a shell/solidify modifier in your 3D software of choice. Some lights in the engines will also make it look fancier. This work is based on a Sketchup-file. Unfortunately I don´t remember the name of its author. Anyway, thanks for the great model! Several years ago I converted and repaired it into a watertight STL-file. My purpose is to provide watertight STL-files for you, which can easily be modified for 3D-printing, according to your personal preferences. Because of that, most of my models are not repaired into one single shell. According to my own experience, this may be a bit more difficult for the preparation of the build, but helps you a lot, if you want to personalize the model. E.g. if you want to seperate parts, such as wheels or mirrors or to remove delicate details like wipers, door handles etc. Before printing, please check out if you have to modify the model, depending on the favored size of your print and the requirements of your printer. This little bird nursery was a project to further push my understanding and skills of the handpainted game art pipeline, from concept to having a finished model. In this case, I also wanted to explore how to blend different terrain textures into each other, and how to generate grass with a particle system instead of placing them all by hand like in my previous props. I’m happy it worked the way it did! In order to get this on Sketchfab I even got some additional practice: Baking said ground textures onto the ground plane, and converting my grass particles into actual geometry. Merging those then ended up making my file twice the size - but “compressing” it brought it down again. Lots of mini-roadblocks, but here it is! It was a really though challange at the begining you know in books everything is 2d and it was really hard to convert that things to 3d. In the end I am really happy about conclusion I learned lots of new things about animation and hand painting in this challange I am planning to make much more model like this in future =). This is my own recreation of the 454 Casull from Hellsing! The form overall is fairly simple, but I had some difficulty with this mostly from the dificulty in finding consistent references, even with official art from both the OVA and original series of Hellsing and snipits from the Manga, this gun has a lot of subtle inconsistencies. One such inconsistency is the squareness of the slide. I had seen official art where the slide takes on a shape more similar to a 1911 pistol, but in other art and in the OVA, the slide appears more square and in some cases even appears to have plates on the side and top. So some details I tried going for a middle ground of the differences I had come across. Fairly happy with how this came out, I feel it’s fairly accurate, or at least as accurate as I can get considering the inconsistent source materials lol A single fully assembled 454 Casull with a full mag plus one in the chamber comes out to just under 6000 Verticies and just over 11k Tris 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 32018 polygons.

I struggeled getting the materials to export properly from Cinema 4D, so the shading might look a bit flat. But I’m fairly happy with the model overall.
