Last week, I decided to create a model for #Swordtember2023, and I came across Yağız Kani's concept art (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/xYVz4E) while browsing ArtStation for ideas. I chose to model it, and it proved to be a great challenge for me. Prior to working on this concept, I had been studying anatomy and muscles in ZBrush. Somehow, I managed to successfully apply everything I had learned from my courses to create this hand. It was a fantastic and enjoyable project. Steam-punk is one my favorite theme. It can be mixed with others like scifi or fantasy. And in my humble opinion, it is one of the most classy design.
So back to the planet theme again,this time with a steam-punk Earth ! The oceans are now made of gears. The earth is now made of gold and metals.
Once again, the PBR material was capital in making the material effects.
