Hard surface project I did from a concept of Sheng Lam.
In this project, I tried to make the result to be as close as possible as the concept and the most realistic possible as well.
For the parts that are not in the concept, I tried to match the general style of the whole with details that still are hard surface and color matching with the drawing.
The walkman is 33k polys and the tapes are 17k polys (3 to 5k polys each) for a total of 55k polys.

My entry for the February Challenge of Frontiers. Here we have a cowboy on his way to discover what lays beyond what his eyes can see in the desert.
I wanted to take a lower poly and stylized approach to this model, and make it look like a drawing rather than a 3D model. Hey there! This is an old model I decided to finish, i hope you’ll like it. The idea was to make an knight of the Hippotamus order, yes ! i worked with Maya and Zbrush for modeling and rigging. I think its safe to say that she’s finally done. Began as an asset for a group project which never got off the drawing board. The idea was for a racing vehicle which moves at high speeds over water. I looked at retro and classic car and plane designs to get the initial concept done, and the design process snowballed into what you see here.
Specular and Normals are a little rushed but they do the job.
