Another new installation of the dragon variants after a while, but less outdated this time. A variant of dragon, progenitor of a once renowned hierarchy among the dragon world. Overall rigged as usual but nothing too complicated id say since I usually like to keep it relatively simple, so if youve seen the other models you can expect the same thing in general (but in the form of a dragon though). Plus some animtations I managed to pull off. Had this guy in mind since about 2 or 3 models ago but I cant help but stick to a specific lineup of projects, perfect or not im humbly satisfied afterall with the results c: worth every migraine as usual. Can probably go nicely in some renders or not and things alike ESPECIALLY with some fire vfx.

Another draconic character, this time of a more olden lineage and prehistoric roots. Rig priamrily meant for blender, no idea how itd turnout in anything else but yeah. I remain curious about expanding more on draconic variants and seeing what comes out, including variants within the other previous species ive made so far of course. Had several inspirations ranging to the Kantus, Kaido, Tvaoans and other things I forgot already. But until then here’s this guy for the meantime. A concept that occured to me real suddenly one day, that i could vaguely see in my mind and I fleshed out as I went along while trying to preserve spider, bird and harpy traits or something. Thats where “weaver” came from, to refer to the weaving of webs. But if I knew vfx and stuff alike i wouldve iuncluded some kind of web shooting animation. Also found out sometime aftwerwards that a weaver is also a real bird, but not too resembling in my opionion.

Hello everyone,
This was such a cool project to work on. I made this project based on the concept art from Kyle Corneliushttps://www.artstation.com/artwork/5l2Kz. Everything has a first time well this project was a lot of first times. This is my first time working in zbrush I always wanted to learn how to sculpt and work it down to a useable game ready creature. After making the high poly in zbrush I went to Maya for the retopo this was also a first for me so learned to work with the quad draw tool. When the low poly was done I uv unwrapped in Maya and textured in substance painter. I went back to zbrush for the posing.
