However, it is a replacement coffin, having been origianlly made for a priest by the name of Djehutymose. The inscription down the front of the coffin calls upon the god Osiris-Wennefer to provide offerings of bread, beer, oxen, fowl, and all good and pure things to Amenhotep I. Very happy with this one- a low poly pbr model of an A-wing, somewhere in between the Star Wars: Rebels and Return of the Jedi versions, complete with a low detail cockpit interior and pilot, and some of my best textures yet. The overall proportions and colorscheme are inspired by Rebels, but the engine tips, split nose and laser cannons are more like RotJ– really this design could go anywhere in the post-Clone Wars timeline. The glass material uses the same textures as the hull, so if you had a huge fleet and wanted to improve performance, you can apply the hull material to the whole thing to have opaque black shiny glass, and then you could delete the pilot too to save on his material. On the other hand, if you want to get fancier and add some refraction to the glass, the glass pieces are their own separate elements, so it is easy to select them and add a little bit of thickness with a shell/solidify modifier in your 3D software of choice. This relief carving is in one of the crypts at Dendera Temple, Egypt and has been interpreted by various fringe or conspiracy theorists and “alternate” history nuts as evidence of the ancient Egyptians having light bulbs. However, that pseudoscientific interpreation is false. This is a depiction of an aspect of ancient Egyptian theology. The scene depicts the creation of the sun god in the form of a serpent surrounded by either an oval body of water or a magical (heka) field. At the end of the oval is a lotus blossom and stem. So, this is diorama, which i made, inspired by an old russian comic tv series “Calambur”. There was a sketch called “Iron Kaputt” which tells us about a super secret tank crew. The Headquarters forgot about them, and they wandered the desert, without orders. The funny part is, the crew is just a bunch of stupid bums, who can’t even handle a tank like this and aren’t able to repel any attacks by the local rebels. A low poly Zeta-class shuttle, as seen in Rogue One and Jedi: Fallen Order! My most detailed texture yet. This model is probably about 85% accurate, although I’ve gone for a more standard imperial gray to match the Lambda shuttle, rather than the black and orange we first saw in Rogue One. Fits in really well with the rest of the Empire’s fleet. The wings and laser cannon turrets are all separate objects with the correct pivot points to rotate into flight mode. A few areas are very slightly simplified to keep the polycount low, and everything uses the same 2048x2048 textures. It also has a rough cockpit interior just with some glowing lights to add a bit of depth, but if you want to save performance you can delete it and make the windows opaque. Enjoy! I’m proud to finally present a project I’ve been working on since 2015: A diorama scene depicting the Battle of Hoth from “Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back”. My ultimate goal was to present drama and emotion through percieved detail while limiting my polycount as much as possible; Putting weight and motion into each hand-posed character to mimic the feeling one might get looking at a table with wargaming miniatures. The concept was partially inspired by the Halo 3 “Believe” ad series. Workflow: No external textures were used, only vertex color painting and some baking for PBR compatability and reduced file size. Done 100% in Blender3D. What I Learned in the Process: Getting to extensively use vertex painting was one of the most fun aspects of this project. I also gained a lot of experience in basic character modelling, and until now, I had never used Blender’s rigging system.
