I wanted to work on a story from my childhood that hasn’t been turned into a dozen different movie-versions, and since I´m a huge fan of stars, glowing things and a little pinch of magic, the tale “The Star-Money” seemed perfect to me.
It’s written by the Grimm brothers and tells the story of a homeless girl who is pure and kind by heart. As a reward for her kindness the stars fall from the sky and turn into gold.

Pinocchio! Such an amazing movie and storybook for children(and s!). In this Diorama-Pop Up project I took the courage to write a little story about the famous “Sea Monster” named Pepper. I changed a little bit of the original story, so please don’t be angry if the whale is a cute whale.I’m really feeling the 3D painting energy after this project. It was amazing to work with a Reference to build the lovable Pinocchio. Early this week I contacted by email Christian Cornia, a professional and amazing 2D illustrator, if I could use one of his Pinocchio exploration concepts. He greet me with joy and allowed me to use his concept as reference. Go check his work at Artstation! I hope you enjoy this little diorama and I’m craving to do more. I’m really looking to continue to learn texture painting. Any suggestions of courses or tutorials please put in the comments or PM, I’ll be grateful.

Hello! This is my entry for the #StorybookChallenge.
Since I was a kid I always dreamed of being an astronaut and I read a lot of books about space.
For this challenge I teamed up with my girlfriend, who is a professional childern’s book illustrator, to recreate my desire to touch the stars.
With this entry we wanted to pay homage to all the authors and illustrators that make all the childrens dream big with their books.
All the modelling was based on her illustration, created on Maya and then hand painted on Substance Painter by me.

Hi there =) This is my entry for sketchfab #StorybookChallange . Before hearding this challange I always wanted to learn hand painted or atleast wanted to make a handpainted 3d model but I could find any avaliable moment until this challange. I decided to join it. It was a really though challange at the begining you know in books everything is 2d and it was really hard to convert that things to 3d. In the end I am really happy about conclusion I learned lots of new things about animation and hand painting in this challange I am planning to make much more model like this in future =).
