Future Cop: LAPD is a third-person shooter developed and published by EA and released for the PlayStation(1), Mac and PC in 1998. In the game, players assume the role of a pilot for the X1-Alpha, a robot designed to fight in the “Crime War” in Los Angeles in the year 2098. The X1-Alpha is a police vehicle that can transform between a fast, hovering pursuit vehicle, and a slower, full-fledged combat mecha. This is recreation of the in game robot with HD textures for a modern age. The creaton of this model was an excersise in texture creation and animation (although I could have picked something easier to animate for my first time animating). The model was created in sketchup for the most part before moving it into blender for the finishing touches, texturing and animation. The textures where created from scratch using photoshop. The stactic pose for the model is more of an action pose and works best with autospin (turntable effect). Vintage Hospital Bed 4K PBR Game-Ready In order to internalize and learn about the workflow for videogames, I decided to take the course “Realistic Prop Creation for Video Games” by Paula Sánchez-Ferrero Ruiz at Domestika. This work was my contribution to retrogasm 2019, well is not on time as you can see but at least is finished, the idea was to recreate a videogame character , I picked captain commando from the 90’s great arcade machine. The high res model was done in Zbrush, retopo in 3dcoat, texture process in Substance Painter, rigged inside Maya with Advanced Skeleton and finally rendered inside marmoset and for the high res model keyshot (overwatch tribute), some final retouch inside Photoshop.
