In this test I wanted to test how much there is difference when baking normals and AO from much higher polycount mesh. 28 million mesh (A7R IV) vs. 16 million mesh (D5300). Both models have been decimated to 800k meshes. It was a part cloudy day so i used AWB with both cameras. Personally i’m surprised that almost double the polycount shows on minimal difference when baking 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 1617841 polygons.

A simulated Iron Age roundhouse at the Ryedale Folk Museum, North Yorkshire. Roundhouses are relatively common in the British Bronze and Iron Ages, seemingly representing a standard type of housing in most areas. The style continued to be used even into the sub-Roman period in some cases. This reconstruction is based on an example excavated at nearby Pickering Quarry. The common features of a roundhouse are the circle of timber posts joined by wattle-and-daub panels, and a roughly 45 degree pitched thatch roof. Here an impressive ‘porch’ feature has been interpreted, most likely used as a windbreak of sorts. 45 degrees was found by experimental archaeologists to be the most efficient design, and surprisingly strong. A hearth burns constantly in the centre, but there is no chimney as an updraft will allow sparks to start a fire, and besides the smoke discourages creatures from eating the thatch. One of eight marble statues adorning the sides of the Schlossbruecke (palace-bridge) in the center of Berlin. Designed and constructed on commission of King Friedrich I. by Karl Friedrich Schinkel in 1921 replacing a wooden bridge used mainly for the transport of material for the construction of the Berlin Palace. The eight statues depict a hero’s life from early childhood to death and weren’t completed until after the death of Schinkel in 1841. During the Second World War, they were taken down and stored at a safe location. After the war, the bridge, left mostly undamaged, was part of the east zone, whilst the statues were stored in the west and not returned until the mid-1980s. the city palace was torn down and the bridge redubbed Marx-Engels-Bruecke. this was reverted in 1991 on the first anniversary of the German reunification.
