In dark rituals this armor is bestowed and fused to an innocent and pure unnoble sacrafice. The treated metal corruptes its victims over time into demigods of incredible magnitude with an insatiable hunger for conquest” This is a model I made for fun and for a portfolio piece. I wanted to push skills, push design, try some new game modeling techniques I had been testing, and to express the glamour of dark temptations. Modeled in Zbrush R7, painted in Substance Painter 2 and Zbrush, UV’d in Haitius UV Layout, presented using Sketchfab’s awsome portable engine. A memorial in tribute to the fallen soldiers of the WW1, located in the oldest grayeyard of the city of Tours, cimetière La Salle. I made three 6k video around the monument from different angles, then I picked 120 frames from each of them, finally processing the 360 pics in reality capture. neutral lighting (pics made during cloudy weather) For a 16k texture I pre processed the pics to get better colors, contrast and exposure. Simplified in instantmeshes. A low poly Zeta-class shuttle, as seen in Rogue One and Jedi: Fallen Order! My most detailed texture yet. This model is probably about 85% accurate, although I’ve gone for a more standard imperial gray to match the Lambda shuttle, rather than the black and orange we first saw in Rogue One. Fits in really well with the rest of the Empire’s fleet. The wings and laser cannon turrets are all separate objects with the correct pivot points to rotate into flight mode. A few areas are very slightly simplified to keep the polycount low, and everything uses the same 2048x2048 textures. It also has a rough cockpit interior just with some glowing lights to add a bit of depth, but if you want to save performance you can delete it and make the windows opaque. Enjoy!
