A WWII radar station on Ward Hill, Fair Isle, it was a Coast Defence U-boat (C.D.U.) station which was the naval version of the R.A.F.’s Chain Home Low (C.H.L.) radar. Radar was used here to track shipping and surfaced submarines and at longer distances aircraft. Something that makes this site unusual is that parts of the antennas and their turntables still survive here. After the war the site was partially dismantled then some buildings/structures blown up with explosives. Damage to the floors indicate where some of the charges were set. Fair Isle is situated about half way between the Orkney Isles and the Shetland Isles off the north coast of Scotland. Anya Forger is one of the characters that has made me laugh the most lately in anime, so I decided to make a rig for personal projects and now you can also make your own animations with her. The rig is perfectly compatible with Blender 3.0 and above, it still has a visibility problem with blender 2.9 that I want to solve soon. The Potocki Palace in Lviv was built in the 1880s as an urban seat of Alfred Józef Potocki, former Minister-President of Austria. On 22 November 1919, American pilot Edward Graves dropped into the palace as part of an air show over the centre of Lviv on the 1st anniversary of the city’s liberation from the Ukrainians. The plane crash and the explosion of its fuel tanks caused a fire on the upper floors and the roof of the palace. The repair and restoration of the building lasted until 1931. From 1945 to 1972 the palace was used by the Institute of Geology and Geochemistry of Combustible Minerals of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. The palace itself was adapted for holding wedding ceremonies in 1972 and subsequently underwent restoration. In the 2000s, the Potocki Palace was handed over to the Lviv Art Gallery.
