Another scan of a rock I found on the beach in Thassos, Greece. At first I tought it was either a meteorite or a volcanic rock, as it is very dense, and slightly magnetic. Turns out it’s just a piece of slug, from a nearby medieval copper mine. Still a beautiful specimen. What you see here is just for fun. I have posted another model, with proper realistic maps. Can be used as a prop, although it is fairly high poly. Files are not packed into zip file, due to size limitation for free users. Some stairs I found in the German-French Garden in Saarbrücken. Did you know? Over 3 years ago, when I uploaded this decimated raw scan, Sketchfab did not have any restrictions for texture size (or at least none I can remember). Consequently, when the new 8k texture limit kicked in, my singular model was automatically split into 4 chunks (judging by the current number of UVs), to accomodate the lower resolutions. I was worried about issues cropping up due to any change in the folds of the pillow when rotating or repositioning it. Thankfully this is a fairly stiff pillow and I was able to successfully get all sides in a single scan. There is a red banding issue on the back that does not exist on the pillow. I’m assuming this was caused by the texture generation process.
