A figurine model of the Monumen Nasional (Monas), a large obelisk located in the center of Jakarta, Indonesia. Stylized lightly with aesthetics in mind, as such the dimensions/ratios don’t really conform to the actual monument. Partially inspired by the Civilization 6 artstyle (though I did not nail it exactly). Was created as a test of my modelling/texturing abilities, I’m quite happy with the outcome, while it did not precisely adhere to the idea I had in mind, it was quite good regardless. October Sculpting Challenge 2022 ❗NOT RIGGED, VERY ROUGH MAXIMO RIG PRESENT PLANNING ON RIGGING IN THE FUTURE PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN PURCHASING❗️ Decided to attempt a more detailed sculpt for this month, particularly focusing on wrinkles and organic detailing. Originally was planning on practicing simple hard surface techniques by creating a deer’s skull, but decided to take it further and create the famous Native American cryptid, the Wendigo. Also took the opportunity to learn how to better use and implement hair cards, although it does bump up the tri count a tad. Suletta mercury is the main character from the show Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, i liked her design and haircut a lot tho i had to grow on me a bit this model is fully rigged and comes with several blendshapes for eye, eyebrows and mouth movements, the model was colored by using a really small and simple 256x256 texture, the poly count being relatively low, i aimed for a very clean design while experimenting on new aesthetics for my models! most likely the texture could have been compressed to a 128x128 texture in hignsight, but the result was very nice regardless, features: fully rigged with unity’s humanoid rig in mind, hair and tie bones for possible spring bones. blendshapes for eyes , mouth , and eyebrows optimized for unity usage rig test edit: fixed a bug where the blink2 R blendshape did not correspond with the blink2 L blendshape edit 2: download link 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 4843 polygons.

I really wanted to make a scifi character in his combat suit. I was inspired by Star Citizen, but Halo’s designs are really the best ones for this. For the process, at first I made the lowpoly model in Maya, then I went to Zbrush to subdivide it and put all the details needed with my own alphas. I baked the highpoly model in susbtance painter, and then I tried to make several smart materials to texture the whole character. I also did 2 different camos, because I needed a character that could fit in my upcoming space station project. I also rigged my character with my own auto-rig, therefore I was able to put it in several poses.
