Hello everyone. I’m continuing my discouvery journey of ancient African artefact :)
Today I upload a Sengese, a kind of throwing knife from Mafahay tribes. Can be also use as machete of course.
The Mafahay people (or Mafa) are located near the lac Tchad, in the north of Nigeria and Cameroun and belong, with several other tribes, to the Chadic language group.
Like many others theses blades are very crazy ! Must have been difficult to forge i think.
