Though I very mostly made up the design as I went along (as usual) I had several insperations in which some may show more than others ranging from a VRex to the modern godzilla, to crocodiles to a handful of dragon art on the internet and etc. Would look even better if Sketchfab was able to process Blender bendy bones, but outside of Blender the tail, neck and wings will look like that (and if animation was my specialty). Was originally going to be a dark gray and somewhat similar and simpler patterns, but ended up with this instead. Didnt really establish any kind of lore n stuff as usual ,but I would imagine about this boi being a green fire breather that would result into toxic or venomous fumes and being extremely ferral. This is my contribution to the digital car creation. It started as a simple model but adding more and more detail led it to the current state. The demo animation should give you some ideas what’s inside the package but it doesn’t include everything. I wasn’t able to optimize it for sketchfab without loosing too much quality (normally I’d hide parts of the model) so it’ll take a bit to load the textures and unfortunately (also for me) some of you (with slower GPUs) will struggle a bit to see the content - in that case, please pause the animation. It’s a complete model of the 911SC from ‘83. It’s completely unwrapped, with painted textures and rigged. The rig is of course made for this animation but I’ll attach a different one suitable for Unreal Engine. Glow FX were originally done as billboard planes, flickering was achieved by randomly rescaling them; the little bat and moving candle flames were animated by shifting UV - as these techniques are currently unavailable on Sketchfab I edited them out and left a static model with no billboard tracking. This motorcycle was scanned with both Eva and Space Spider. Eva allowed for fast and easy acquisition of the overall shape, while Space Spider was used to scan the intricate geometry of the wheels and the sides. We first sprayed the bike with anti-gloss spray. The seat and gas tank had no features, but we stuck a couple of pieces of masking tape to them and that was enough to ensure stable. We didn’t have to add an extra features to the parts we scanned with Space Spider since all of these mechanical parts had rich geometry. There were a lot of these parts though and the shapes were quite complex, consequently it took quite a long time to scan them all. One of the highlights of the scanning was the bike chain: due to its thin and repetitive shape, we expected it to be a challenging object, but Spider’s scanning depth was deep enough to capture the background behind it. Scanning time: Eva - 15 min. Space Spider - 1,5 hours Processing time: 30 minutes for Eva data only, 3,5 hours for both Eva and Spider data 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 1042148 polygons.
