It started out as a low poly model but was never finished. To finally finish it I decided to add lots of new detail as well as completely re-texture it, adding additional maps that our game engine didn’t support at the time (like normal maps). It includes a fully modelled cockpit (which would have been interactive had the game ever been made), and a detailed rotary engine; both of which have their own set of texture maps so will be easy to reuse in other projects. Included in the optional download are all uncompressed texture maps in PNG format (diffuse, AO, roughness, metallic, and normal), as well as quadrangular and triangulated versions of the mesh. A low poly Zeta-class shuttle, as seen in Rogue One and Jedi: Fallen Order! My most detailed texture yet. This model is probably about 85% accurate, although I’ve gone for a more standard imperial gray to match the Lambda shuttle, rather than the black and orange we first saw in Rogue One. Fits in really well with the rest of the Empire’s fleet. The wings and laser cannon turrets are all separate objects with the correct pivot points to rotate into flight mode. A few areas are very slightly simplified to keep the polycount low, and everything uses the same 2048x2048 textures. It also has a rough cockpit interior just with some glowing lights to add a bit of depth, but if you want to save performance you can delete it and make the windows opaque. Enjoy! In designing the starfighters of its TIE line, Sienar Fleet Systems drew heavily on the designs of Kuat Systems Engineering ships such as the V-wing and Eta-2 interceptor. Sienar also experimented with advanced models featuring localized improvements and secret technological breakthroughs, including the TIE Advanced v1 prototype, based on Sienar’s Scimitar Star Courier. This prototype led to the TIE Advanced x1, which boasted a hyperdrive and deflector shield generator. A modified early prototype of the Advanced x1 line was flown by Darth Vader himself. Vader’s fighter boasted greater speed and heavier firepower, featuring fixed-mounted twin blaster cannons and a cluster missile launcher.
