My interpretation of a Tyrannosaurus Rex. First full creature sculpt in a while, sculpted fully in zBrush starting with zSpheres to practice the full pipeline. Sculpted the Primary and Secondary Shapes in zBrush before retopoed and UV’ed in Maya before returning to zBrush for projection and further sculpting into the secondary and tertiary shapes. One of my favorite enemy in Fallout 2, that didnt get much love in new Fallouts games(dont care about Chris Avellone note in Fallout Bible where he wanted them gone). Wanamingo is Alien like creature that live mostly underground, especially in Redding mines, that just like Deathclaws are actually results of FEV experiments. I keep it as close as possible to original model, so no sensor organs on head, needle like teeths and long tentacles. Nothing from that pig-like concept from early F3 graphics that look like… pig… As for model it self, It is rigged, but not animated, It was so long from I last time made mutant model that Im not even sure if I made IK rig properly.... But at least FK rig should be good. I could not use any fancy automatic rig as its not humanoid model… Model have one PBR Material in 4K, Default maroon color and more pale colors are included. This is my game ready mesh of Spinosaur with custom pattern. I really like dinosaurs and after completed Monster Hunter I had a lot of inspiration there, so I decided to create one of my favourite monster ;) In this model I tried to make realistic model as much, as possible. I want to make the bestiary of my creatures that I created. According to my interpretation, the Spinosaurs lives in the highlands near the volcanoes. Their pattern growing on their back effectively deters other predators and thanks to this they can easly hunt their favorite meal. They weren’t big, but certainly belonged to the most aggressive and most bloodthirsty dinosaurs, they never let a prey escape from their sharp claws. I took major inspiration from Kiriko(Overwatch) for this mask. A lot of parts on this mask are emissive, tried to make it look as cyberpunk as I could. the pink areas all have a carbon fibre texture because why not. The Japanese characters on the mask is actually from Kirikos ultimate voice line “Unleash the kitsune’s claws”. The ones on the kunai, I had no idea what to write but I found something that said “The weak are meat;The strong eat” it was kinda funny in a cool way so I used it.
