Thank you all for 1000+ followers! Even though I’ve always been just doing my own thing and and upload rarely I do appreciate you all for being interested in my work! This time I wanted to take my skills to the test and make an entire enviroment in a pixely PS1 style. It was quite the undertaking but I feel that it turned out quite well! I was inspired by those early 3d/2d fighting games like “King Of Fighters Neowave” and such, therefore the stage is designed to only be viewed from one restricted angle. In this test I wanted to test how much there is difference when baking normals and AO from much higher polycount mesh. 28 million mesh (A7R IV) vs. 16 million mesh (D5300). Both models have been decimated to 800k meshes. It was a part cloudy day so i used AWB with both cameras. This is a 3d printable model of Gary the snail from Spongebob Squarepants. I made it using Fusion 360, and it’s printable either as a single body in one colour, a single body in multiple colours (using an MMU) or in multiple parts to be assembled afterwards, allowing it to be printed in full colour using any 3d printer. The purchase includes a single body STL, 3MF, a multi part STL, and the Fusion 360 file. The multi part model has been created with clearances of 0.2mm to allow for easier part assembly. Tested using a Prusa MK2. If your printer needs a larger clearance value, you can load up the Fusion file, and change the value of the parameter, which will adjust all the clearances at once. Below are some pictures of the printed assembled model c/o my friend Mia (@dasmia3 on twitter.)
