FULL BREAKDOWN “The ancient blacksmiths forged great armors from the souls of sealed demons and the bones of fallen dragons. In dark rituals this armor is bestowed and fused to an innocent and pure unnoble sacrafice. The treated metal corruptes its victims over time into demigods of incredible magnitude with an insatiable hunger for conquest" This is a model I made for fun and for a portfolio piece. I wanted to push skills, push design, try some new game modeling techniques I had been testing, and to express the glamour of dark temptations. Modeled in Zbrush R7, painted in Substance Painter 2 and Zbrush, UV'd in Haitius UV Layout, presented using Sketchfab's awsome portable engine. This character model was part of a game project for my final course this spring. This character was the main antagonist in our game “Jeniah”, and he was the final boss of the game that the player had to fight against and defeat. Our game project was very inspired by Souls-games like Dark Souls and a little bit of Bloodborne, and so I did my best to try and get the rigth “feeling” for the characters.
I had four days to come up with the concept, model from scratch, and texture this character and put it in the game.
