Following a Japanese theme, I created a pond featuring a bamboo spout with a bowl, a water lantern, lily pads and waterlilies. The bamboo spout and bowl references the Tsukubai and Shishi-Odoshi fountains commonly found in Japanese gardens while the floating lantern is inspired by TÅrÅ Nagashi, a Japanese ceremony where paper lanterns are released into the river. This environmental prop was inspired by Inès “Ourka†Rotzinger’s concept art for Amber Isle (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ZeBWom). The way they draw lily pads is really cute and I love the colours of the water, the foam streaks and the fun foam bubbles so I tried to preserve these traits in the texture and the 3D model. Modelled in Maya and Textured using Procreate. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 5822 polygons.
