Basically, I had made the pillar in Maya and then the lion’s skull in the Zbrush (This is my first time to work on it). 7 years ago, I scanned this Nanotyrannus : https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/nanotyrannus-lancensis-young-t-rex-7b0967fa27674d959647868686b6717b . However, the model was far from perfect. I figured I would scan it again for the Agisoft Nature Challenge. This time, I managed to create a watertight model that should be 3D printable. I also set the number of polygons to 300k on purpose : half the weight of the original model, but with more details ! This is a cast of the real fossil of a Nanotyrannus Lancensis found in Gilmore, Montana, in the Hell Creek formation, in 1946. It is about 65 million years old. Scientists used to think Nanotyrannus Lancensis was a species distinct from the famous T-Rex, but recent discoveries tend to show that a nanotyrannus is actually a young T-Rex. Based on the soon to be released movie by Disney, I bring to Sketchfab my take on the “cursed” guitar from Coco! I had a lot of fun modeling it with Blender, doing the uv’s and then importing it to Substance for the texture work, I recreated all the stencils in Phototshop, and did a lot of masking for each of them in Substance.
