Olive Jar Rim #BAH1993-1474. Spanish colonial era ships frequently carried amphora-like earthenware jugs called “olive jars” (botijas in Spanish) to hold wine, oil, & vinegar. These egg-shaped jars were roughly 50 centimeters tall by 30-40 cm in diameter. The St. Johns Wreck, believed to be that of the 1564 galleon Santa Clara, carried at least 130 olive jars; most broke when the ship wrecked – we only know the number by tallying the surviving rims. This rim has an outside diameter of 9.2 cm, and stands 4 cm tall. The mouth was sealed with pine resin or pitch, some of which has survived. 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 392197 polygons.

This is one of the Ancient Lion Pillars that I had converted into a 3D Model with the help of Zbrush. Basically, I had made the pillar in Maya and then the lion’s skull in the Zbrush (This is my first time to work on it). Then I had combined them up, to put some cracks on the pillar so that it would have an ancient look. Then the same thing as it is (Low poly, Unwrapping and Baking). After those things I had did texturing in substance painter.
