This is a Game Ready model of a Gas Pump I made while watching a course from Emiel Sleegers, a 3d environment artist at Ubisoft. For this piece, I followed the Game asset pipeline for AAA Games. I started by analizing the references, created a blockout, then a High Poly object. Then I turned it into a low poly object, uv unwraped, exported to Marmoset 3, where I baked the high poly onto the low poly mesh by using the weighted normals technique. Then I set the render scene, and exported my baked textures to Substance Painter, where I painted the textures. FInally, I imported the textures from substance into Marmoset 3, and set my render scene with a Turntable render. I was able to learn and to improve knowledge I already had, with some new tools and techniques taugh by Emiel. The Northern Saw-whet Owl (Aegolius acadicus) is one of our smaller owls. It is a relatively common denizen of forested areas in the province, but is rarely seen because of its nocturnal habits. By day, it roosts silently amongst dense conifers, until it is discovered by other birds at which point a cacophony of mobbing calls may ensue to try to dislodge the predator. One can sometimes entice a pair of saw-whets to stay in the neighbourhood with a nest box. Small mammals, especially deer mice, beware, as you are the owl’s main prey. The Iron Spider Armor, listed as Item 17A of the Avengers Compound, is an armored version of the Spider-Man Suit comprised of nanotechnology. It was created by Tony Stark for Peter Parker to use as an Avenger, offered to him in 2016 after he prevented Vulture from stealing from a Stark Cargo Plane. After initially rejecting the suit, Spider-Man was given the suit two years later during the Infinity War, using it to survive in space and fight Thanos on Titan. The suit, along with Spider-Man, was turned to dust during the Snap, although it was restored when Parker was resurrected by Hulk in 2023 and was used to fight the Outriders during the Battle of Earth. In 2024, Spider-Man used the armor to subdue members of the Manfredi Crime Family. Months later, he used it to fight Doctor Octopus, who used his tentacles to remove a chunk of the armor and transfer its nanites onto his tentacles. Though it ended up a bit too polygon-heavy, I am still happy how this turned out. My main difficulty was to render out curvature maps for the rust and scratch effects in Substance painter, but Xnormal does a good enough job after some tweaking around in Substance Painter. This is a model based off of Joe Petagno’s cover art for the 1986 album “Orgasmatron” by Motörhead. Petagno is the original artist behind Motörheads famous boar-like figurehead and the guy behind their album art. He has also created Led Zeppelins famous Icarus character and artwork for many other bands of different genres, even covers for sci-fi books.
