The Lion Throne This is my personal project for Burmese collection. The Lion Throne (also known as Sihasana or Thihathana Palin; Burmese: သီဟသနပလ္လင်, derived from Sanskrit: सिंहासन, romanized: siṃhāsana, lit. ‘lion’s seat, throne’) is one of the eight historic thrones used by the Burmese monarchs. Seven of them were destroyed by fire during the allied bombing of World War II, but the Lion Throne was saved, because the throne was transported to India in 1885 after the Third Anglo-Burmese War, and later returned. This is my personal project and for my college student life memories. Canadian-built Chevrolet C-15 trucks, They are used for public transportation in Burmese(Now Myanmar). These buses are Canadian-built Chevrolet C-15 trucks that the British Army used extensively from about 1939 to the independence of Burma in 1948. There were a lot of these trucks left over from the British, so the Burmese converted many to become wood body buses. At Yangon they become “39 Bite Pu” meaning “39 BigBelly” and at Mawlamyine “No.7 Bus”. My model is from Mawlamyine (our college ferry ) it’s a little bit difference style from Yangon bus (“39 Bite Pu”). 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 38140 polygons.
