By importing a default gmod character model, and applying the “driving” animation, i was possible to model the vehicle directly to fit the player models, allowing it to work surprisingly well with the default animations. The seating position was modified by tilting it backwards by about 12 degrees, allowing an overall lower profile, a little hack I was very glad to see working! Somewhat unrealistic for a kart to have full suspension, but was needed to fit the Source vehicle animations. And yes, it’s electric!
