A drivable go-kart vehicle made specifically for the Source game Garrysmod! Available as a Workshop addon, and fully functional! Ingame, it is fully animated and has a colour mask, so it can be tinted to any colour. It also comes with a Bodygroup of a Glider, that will be utilized in an upcoming Kart racing gamemode. This model was Commissioned for a Gmod gamemode that will be released in the future! By importing a default gmod character model, and applying the “driving” animation, i was possible to model the vehicle directly to fit the player models, allowing it to work surprisingly well with the default animations. The seating position was modified by tilting it backwards by about 12 degrees, allowing an overall lower profile, a little hack I was very glad to see working! Somewhat unrealistic for a kart to have full suspension, but was needed to fit the Source vehicle animations. And yes, it’s electric! This is a model of a thermometer taken on 10 August 2021. It was 26 degrees when we photoscanned this office thermometer. This is a comparison between three kinds of thermometers that we made. With the use of Photoshop masks, we were able to get a fantastic result. There were a few small detail losses in the metal and glass parts of the thermometer. We remodeled the missing parts in Blender. With the model being in Blender, we baked all sorts of PBR textures. We baked the diffuse, AO, roughness, glossiness, opacity, and normal maps. The remodeled thermometer was sent back to Agisoft for retexturing. A simulated Iron Age roundhouse at the Ryedale Folk Museum, North Yorkshire. Roundhouses are relatively common in the British Bronze and Iron Ages, seemingly representing a standard type of housing in most areas. The style continued to be used even into the sub-Roman period in some cases. This reconstruction is based on an example excavated at nearby Pickering Quarry. The common features of a roundhouse are the circle of timber posts joined by wattle-and-daub panels, and a roughly 45 degree pitched thatch roof. Here an impressive ‘porch’ feature has been interpreted, most likely used as a windbreak of sorts. 45 degrees was found by experimental archaeologists to be the most efficient design, and surprisingly strong. A hearth burns constantly in the centre, but there is no chimney as an updraft will allow sparks to start a fire, and besides the smoke discourages creatures from eating the thatch. This is a Go-Kart I made using Blender and Substance. It’s my own version of a childrens’ go-kart. It has 2K PBR Maps for 4 different parts of the mesh. Maps are: Roughness, Height, Metallic, Normal, Color, and 2 Emissive maps for the headlights and the back-light. The vehicle is NOT rigged or animated. It comes in one piece in an obj and its mtl file. For future calculation purposes, the steering wheel was rotated 25 degrees forward.
