This is a completely new mesh based off the shape and proportions of Yowane Haku. I had this bright idea to see what an MMD character would look like with a proper human texture on it and sort of anatomical accurate eyes, nose and erm… bits. I downloaded the original MMD character and had to take some paracetamol when I looked at the topology of it and thought I’d make my own with more detailed hands and ears as well. It’s an experiment that a pervert like me has wasted many hours of fun with. Still not complete and a bit of a screw up on the iris textures and the bottoms of the feet. One day I’ll finish off my ultimate Waifu and 3D print her in Silicone :-) After all she’s not an alcoholic and won’t end up having me cucolded when I can’t afford a bottle of wine for her. She won’t moan about the washing machine not being fixed yet or the toilet seat being up. I had a job where I had to make a replica of the Heisler Locomotive train from back in the 1920’s, which was an innovative design for a train engine at the time. The engine was designed in a way to have the two cylinders both at a 45 degree angle from each other. This train was to be built in Blender, and then transferred to the Unity game engine. I built the train in a low polygon fashion (50,000+ triangles), baked the bump map, and also rigged the wheels and transmission, to rotate with only the action of one bone. For the materials, I created a material ID for the train, and pulled the model into Substance Painter to keep all of the textures in one full map, so that when you import the train to Unity, you will only have to worry about one batch of maps, rather than dealing with many more. 3D Assets for a VR Game for the portfolio class project at HCC. I had the role/job of 3D Artist and was tasked with 3D modeling and texturing assets similarly to their real life counterparts. Then, importing assets to Unity while making sure they work inside the engine. Credits to DELL for logos/original product designs and NEC plus other branding included. Some textures were custom made/tweaked in Photoshop, but most assets I did use official/external logos. Assets not for sale, made for educational purposes. Special thanks to family and friends, class peers and prof. Chris Khuong for everything. Learned a lot while doing these assets. Software used, blender and substance painter. Assets will be used inside Unity. Workflow includes baking with high to low poly models. Maya was used for re-topo revisions for some instances.
