I had a job where I had to make a replica of the Heisler Locomotive train from back in the 1920's, which was an innovative design for a train engine at the time. The engine was designed in a way to have the two cylinders both at a 45 degree angle from each other. This train was to be built in Blender, and then transferred to the Unity game engine. I built the train in a low polygon fashion (50,000+ triangles), baked the bump map, and also rigged the wheels and transmission, to rotate with only the action of one bone. For the materials, I created a material ID for the train, and pulled the model into Substance Painter to keep all of the textures in one full map, so that when you import the train to Unity, you will only have to worry about one batch of maps, rather than dealing with many more.
