I created the base Delorean DMC as a starting point, I then went on to create the Back To The Future movie additions. It was a great project to work on as I was able to base my design on an actual real-world example of a Movie replica Car. After watching Ready Player One I wanted to ‘update’ the model to reflect the changes made in the movie as they looked pretty cool on the big screen, who doesn’t want K.I.T.T additions on a Delorean anyhow? I took the base DeLorean model and some of the BTTF additions I have already added and went all out on the detail, motivated by the amazing Ready Player one visuals. I created this warmaul for DAE’s Weaponcraft asssignment. A relic weapon designed for “The Scarlet Crusade”, a fanatical religious sect on a grand quest to rid Azeroth of the Undead Scourge up in former Lordaeron. It never had the possibility to shine its brightest light due all the corruption from within. The Scarlet Crusade always interested me in the time I played WoW, but never did I invest in their lore as much. Doing a deep dive I discovered about this lad Saidan Dathoran who was their “Grand Crusader” before being corrupted by this dreadlord.
