The biggest 3D project i have undertaken and I am very pleased with the result! For an assignment I had to set a goal for myself; I choose organic modeling, since that's something I've always avoided. I looked for inspiration and found a beautiful piece of concept art by Le Yamamura to be found at: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/LNNxP I strongly urge you to check them out! I am in no way taking credit for the amazing concept. I merely picked it for a Study assignment and felt like sharing it here. Hence why I'm not putting it on downloadable. I learned so much during this project and my eyes have been truly opened to organic modeling. I hope to do more soon! Hydrothermal vents are commonly found near volcanically active places, areas where tectonic plates are moving apart, ocean basins, and hotspots.
Hydrothermal vents are common on earth because it is both geologically active and has large amounts of water on its surface and within its crust. Common land types include hot springs, fumaroles and geysers.
Can be used perfectly as atmospheric back-and-foreground models for deep sea 3d environments. Works also very well with kitbashing techniques
