Hi everyone, This is my grad work for XYZ school course. As big fan of Cowboy Bebop I decided to make a Swordfish. I used Maya for modeling and animation, Mamoset for baking AO and normals, fixed some in Photoshop and paint in Substance Painter. The model has four 4k sets with texel 8 pxcm. I chose metal oughness pipeline and got transperency map for forth set. 44.5 k - tris, 24 - verts I add some details to the texture that appeared during the anime plot. And I hope you like the model. I am a huge Pixar/Disney fan and my two year old boy Oscar is mad on ‘Baymax’ so I had the perfect excuse to loose myself in poly heaven for a bit and create a Baymax 2.0 scene. I wanted to have another go at Mental Ray lighting with the idea of baking that lighting directly into the textures. You will see that the shadeless mode is used, all lighting in the scene is ‘generated’ by the materials. The scene background is a take on a Pixar/Disney/Comic book theme with a simple ‘blocky’ style, I’m happy with how it turned out. Fan-art from the game Final Fantasy 7!! This is the Cosmo Canyon, one of the cities that can be visited through the game. It was a comission where I was asked to made an stylized and simplified version of the place, and this is how it turned out! I decided to push the limit of Sketchfab’s capabilities, and added a day-night cycle to the scene. It was a bit tricky, as lamps can’t be animated, at least for now. Some textures were custom made/tweaked in Photoshop, but most assets I did use official/external logos. Assets not for sale, made for educational purposes. This project was about entry task for “Trace Studio” Bootcamp. Task Specification: • High-poly model based on concept • Low-poly model to 1000 triangles • Baking normals tangent space: DirectX(-Y) • Texturing PBR Metalness|Roughness The hardest part of the test was to fit the number of polygons into the budget. During my work, I drew attention to the materials from which the elements of the knee pad are made. I tried to convey the contrast between the materials, the nature of the materials, their tectonics and plastic. The total budget of polygons amounted to 998 triangles. UV maps were made with UVPackmaster add-on for Blender. Vintage Hospital Bed 4K PBR Game-Ready In order to internalize and learn about the workflow for videogames, I decided to take the course “Realistic Prop Creation for Video Games” by Paula Sánchez-Ferrero Ruiz at Domestika. With my previous experience and the artist’s guidance, I proceeded to create a model that required baking and work on Zbrush. All meshes were designed in 3ds Max. The main frame of the bed (made up of welded pipes) was later sculpted in Zbrush. –This project is part of a larger game concept I’ve been writing since college, a third-person action adventure with some space-sim mechanics. It’s been a learning process, but I couldn’t be happier with how it has come together. The Galante was used to field several weapons loadouts before it became the testbench for the experimental Blackbell faster-than-light drive.
