Sometimes, all we need to do is let go… before it’s too late… The story: One night a snake, looking for food, entered a carpenter’s workshop. The carpenter, who was a rather untidy man, had left several of his tools lying on the floor. One of them was a saw. As the snake went round and round the shop, he climbed over the saw, which gave him a little cut. At once, thinking that the saw was attacking him, he turned around and bit it so hard that his mouth started to bleed. This made him very angry. He attacked again and again until the saw was covered with blood and seemed to be dead. Dying from his own wounds, the snake decided to give one last hard bite then turned away. The next morning the carpenter was surprised to find a dead snake on his doorstep. Moral of the story: Sometimes in trying to hurt others, we only hurt ourselves. The monument to the Ukrainian poet, writer, artist and thinker Taras Grigorievich Shevchenko is located in the center of Kharkov - in the Shevchenko Garden, at the entrance to the central alley from the side of Sumskaya Street. The total height of the monument is over 16 meters, the statue is 4.5 meters. The goal of the project is to obtain sufficient information for further modeling and study of all details. To solve this problem, we used an RTC360 laser scanner, a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone and a Canon EOS R camera. In the course of the work, laser scanning, photography from a quadrocopter and additional photos were carried out. The next stage was office processing. The second cycle was implemented using Leica Cyclone and Reality Capture programs, which were enclosed in data binding to a coordinate system. The next point was an automatic combination of aligned point clouds and photographs. This was created as part of Ashleigh Warners’ ‘Creating Stylized Game Assets’ course available through CGMA. I completed my first draft last November, but I went back over it and made as many changes as possible to get it to a place I felt confident in sharing. This is MEEPO, or the Mega Express Espresso Processing Operator 3000. The initial idea was to have this retro-futuristic coffee-station diorama that sold a particular kind of mundane story (even if it was in a sort of space-setting). Either way, this is my first fully-completed hand-painted project and I couldn’t be happier! It was created through a mix of Blender, 3Ds Max, 3D Coat, Substance Painter and Photoshop! The Ford Mondeo Mk2 ST200 i made from scratch using blueprints and images for NFS ProStreet Pepega Edition. It was the second car i made for the mod and the most challenging one i had to make. Of course its not perfect, the model had some major changes over time including a whole overhaul of it because some proportions were off in many spots. I tried my best in doing it as accurate as possible and im very happy with the final result. And of course you car drive it and upgrade it in the mod! This is a 3d printable model of Gary the snail from Spongebob Squarepants. I made it using Fusion 360, and it’s printable either as a single body in one colour, a single body in multiple colours (using an MMU) or in multiple parts to be assembled afterwards, allowing it to be printed in full colour using any 3d printer. The purchase includes a single body STL, 3MF, a multi part STL, and the Fusion 360 file. The multi part model has been created with clearances of 0.2mm to allow for easier part assembly. Tested using a Prusa MK2. If your printer needs a larger clearance value, you can load up the Fusion file, and change the value of the parameter, which will adjust all the clearances at once. Below are some pictures of the printed assembled model c/o my friend Mia (@dasmia3 on twitter.)
