This is a small enviroment assessment diorama of a beach cross section that consists of a few LCVPs, Belgian Gates, Hemmbalkens, Czech Hedgehogs and a row of Rommelspargel. The Higgins Landing Craft, Vehicle, Personnel (LCVP) is supposed to be the center-piece object, however it would’ve been boring if were just one. The fortifications along the beach are the environment part, so they weren’t as high in poly count in comparison to the boats. This is a model of a thermometer taken on 10 August 2021. It was 26 degrees when we photoscanned this office thermometer. This is a comparison between three kinds of thermometers that we made. With the use of Photoshop masks, we were able to get a fantastic result. There were a few small detail losses in the metal and glass parts of the thermometer. We remodeled the missing parts in Blender. With the model being in Blender, we baked all sorts of PBR textures. We baked the diffuse, AO, roughness, glossiness, opacity, and normal maps. The remodeled thermometer was sent back to Agisoft for retexturing. There are three of the Methane molecules shown, and the intermolecular bonding is omitted as to display the weakness of it in comparison to the strong covalent intramolecular bonding between the Hydrogen and Carbon atoms. Methane is a non-polar molecule, as the tetrahedral structure assists in balancing the charge, and Hydrogen and Carbon do not have a very large difference in charge. This model is also suitable to an extent, as it clearly represents where the intramolecular bonds are within the molecule, however in a real molecule, those bonds would not be able to be seen, and thus the model is slightly inaccurate. Moreover, the model is not a real depiction of the size of the model, however it displays the format of the elements in the correct structure. The model has had several parts removed and paint stripped back during an historic attempt at restoration, which has frustrated specific identification. Some elements are suggestive of a Mediaeval cog, especially hull dimensions, keel design and clinker build. Another comparison would be a mid-to-late-18th-century or early 19th-century merchant, or naval, brig. Brigs were two-masted, square-rigged ships which normally had a spanker sail set on the lower mainmast. The foremast was the shorter of the two masts. They were used as both naval and merchant vessels. If this ship is based on a naval vessel it would be classed as a sixth-rate (having 20-28 guns on a single deck) as there are 22 gun-ports.
