Hello everyone! Here is something that has been in the works, for the longest time, between clients and regular projects, the sequel to my basic sculpted 3D model in Zbrush , posted roughly 5 months ago, which was a sequel to my personal custom combo challenge idea, where I asked people to select a combination from my prompt list, and I would invent for them a concept based on the combination they chose. Of all those ink 2D drawings, i liked this one the most so i decided to take a stab at it. The development was extreemly slow, as I was constantly busy , so sometimes weeks passed, one time 2 months passed without me even touching it, and the rest of the time sometimes I took 2 hours, sometimes only 10 minutes....untill… NOW. :D It is finally done. This project started as a small desire to model something medeval. I started on the catapalt, and from there wanted to animate it. However i thought it would be fun to have a looping animation. This then spawned the idea to create a character who was determined to siege this tower after after he formed a sort of rivalry with the owner of the tower. I ended up adding a lot of addition props to the scene that i hadnt originally accounted for. I also removed a character from the tower, who i put a bit of time and work into, but he just didnt fit into the scene well enough (i may do a seperate/individual upload of that character). This was my first animation (in several years) of my own character, modeled and rigged from scratch. Im not really an animator, but i thought it would be a fun challenge to add in a character and fully animate them. Modeling and animation was completed in Maya and Zbrush. This is the 3rd version of the Saitama 3D character models that I have been working on over the past few weeks. I have learned a lot from creating this character, and am quite OK with the result. More 3D character designs will follow. :) The initial high-resolution mesh was first sculpted using ZBrush, then ZRemeshed to create the 1st pass of retopology, which was then simplified and adjusted in Maya to make it cleaner and more game-ready. After the model was constructed in the “A-pose”, I used Maya’s built-in Human IK feature to set up the joints, skin the model, apply the rig, and pose the character. A neo-noir 1940’s seductive woman designed to a brief. This project has taken me 1 1/2 weeks to complete, and has certainly been a challenge due to one of the requirements being that the character should look modeled rather than sculpted. A regal knight who belongs to the Band of the Peacock. They are proud, and like to stand out on the battlefield and whilst sparring. All in the band are left handed, adding exclusivity to their band, and all fight with two-handed weapons. The Band are often paid to fight for others, and due to their popularity, they are wealthy men. Super excited to share this Silver hand themed chest I’ve been working on over the past 8 weeks in Jordan Powers’ Aeon Core - Brushforge class! Many thanks to Jordan for his awesome and thorough feedback during the whole class and all of my classmates who’ve all done a stellar job on their projects! The school objective was to create a high quality game ready model in a month (the month being shortened to around 3 weeks due to Christmas break). For the model, I chose to create a medieval knight. The Green Knight, low poly was made in Maya, and high poly was made in zBrush. High res was sculpted in 2 days and low res was finished in around 2 days. The game res model was made using the quad draw tool in Maya and UVs were also cut in the software. When creating the low res, I also split some parts off in order to allow for customization as if the model had different armor sets. The textures were made in 4 days with the help of Substance Painter. I followed UE4 PBR guidelines and did every material as a procedural. Whats this? Never seen this car ever before? How did I get the blueprints for it? Well, it’s not a real car :D The 1959 Elwood Iroquois Brillare Special, the best thing to happen to the human race since sliced bread. The Elwood brand is an American luxury brand and entirely fictional. About a month ago I made a car in Automation, I was quite impressed with it and had wanted to make a fully detailed model basing it off of a car I had previously made in Automation, so I did that with this one. This car took pretty much a whole month to make, with some minor distubrances from other jobs and stuff. Very pleased with how it turned out. A 14th century farmer using a heavy plough pulled by oxen. I was approached by BuildersBrew to create a small diorama of a Medieval Farmer ploughing the fields, this was based off of some references provided and is to be used within the immersive mobile app for The Chester House Estate. Conservation with the overall tricount, texture space and alpha usage in the project was important to make sure the model could load well in the application, the texture for the character was 4k for this render however this was reduced to 2k in the application and the overall tricount came in at around 70k for the whole project.
