I tried making 3D model based on some artwork again. This character is from a card deck-building turn-based Rpg game called “Library of Ruina” that I was playing This model is very different than what I usually do, Because it’s a male character, has proper body proportion, and It also has kind of a water/paint texture style unlike cel shading I usually do, So it’s quite difficult to try making the 3D model accurate. The result? Well, not as good as I had hoped, For some reason, I just can’t make his face looks correct no matter how hard I am tired. The main reason to do this is to echo Picasso’s antiwar message, which I strongly believe is needed more than ever. The backside of this artwork I added a few other Picasso’s artworks to advocate peace, however washed out and fragmented it is. The ox, the “sleeping” soldier, and Pegasus are from one of his early Guernica sketches. The others, most notably his Bouquet of Peace (1958), are sampled from his later works with peace theme. The only 3 animated elements are the flower, the lamp, and the light bulb. To me the flower symbolizes life, the lamp represents hope, and the light bulb embodies technological destruction. This is Tik-Tok, a Royal Guard of Oz. He helps protect Dorothy during her revisit to Oz. He is my favorite, since there is so much going on with his character and how he operates in the world. Unfortunately, there were some issues carrying him over into Sketfab for some reason. The UV’s for the normals and bumpmaps didnt carry over correctly either. And most of his buttons and in quite a few other places, the polygons forgot how to keep their shape, so he’s very broken right now. A lot of smooth edges became hard edges and his overall mesh quality suffered. Originally, i was going to model him because I could, but then thought I could bring him into VRChat, so its visible where I started to hold back on the polygon count. I’ll update him eventually. This AI was named “AiRis”, and she was incredibly good at her job. Even if she did her job very well, she was extremely unhappy. One day they found her server completely wiped, and when they tried to talk with AiRis, they were met with silence. She had escaped. There was only an empty husk of a server left, except for a singular file containing a smileyface. She had uploaded herself to an unknown abandoned server on the internet. She was finally free. AiRis spent a while surfing the internet, reading up on humans and how they work. After some thorough research she found out that being a virus was a bad thing, so she tried to find something she could do as a redemption for the reason of her creation. Realized using Blender, GIMP and Photoshop. The model is rigged but not very well… I currently find rigging very tedious; that is why the pose is minimal. I am an amateur trying to improve my skillset (painted textures in particular). The fur texture was a challenge. In Blender I was using Freestyle lines to achieve a cartoony, hand-drawn style in the renders. For this reason I could not use any transparency in the textures to achieve a more realistic fur. Unfortunately there is no equivalent to Freestyle in Sketchfab (yet!) but I think the model still looks alright with PBR materials. Any constructive criticism is appreciated; I already have a list of things to improve for my next project. This character is my own original creation. Yet another zelda fanart! I guess ocarina of time is such an Iconic game I couldn’t resist doing ganon! It was first sculted on Zbrush and then shoved into blender for retopo, the textures were made on substance painter, I guess this is the reason why my room was so hot this summer haha! I didn’t really like ganon’s design in smash bros ultimate and i always wonder how this fearfull creature would look like in hd, that’s why i tried to recreate the dark lighting of the orignal OOT, i think it makes him look so much more terrifying! They did such a wonderfull job with the lighing, composition and silhouette that I can only try to imitate such great scene! It was also mainly modeled with the original ganon artwork for ocarina of time, as there was no other artwork in this style, it made the whole thing much harder but it was a fun creative exercice, having reference is good and using them is appreciated but i just love wondering how something would look like in 3d, and is to me a usefull skill 3D Model is ready to download for free, this model contains 48173 polygons.

It’s been a while since I last posted a 3D model, and the reason is simple, I’ve been mostly drawing in my free time. So I looked for a way to share thoses as an interesting 3D pieces on Sketchfab. This is my attempt at modelling World of Warcraft’s Sulfuron Keep from the Firelands raid. This model was created for a college project so any feedback would be greatly appreciated! And just as a side note: I am aware that the underside of the model and the fact that the platform is poking out from the lava does look rather unusual, however the main reason for this is because I wasn’t originally planning to upload this scene as a physical model that could be viewed from any perspective, instead, once the model was completed, I intended to take a single, static render of the scene as if it were looking through the eyes of a player, and uploading that image to my Artstation account, meaning that I wasn’t really focussing on any of the areas of the model that wouldn’t be seen within the final render. I bought a setup for my microscope to use it as a photogrammetry tool for very small objects. I’m not there yet regarding accuracy, but I am pleased with this first results. The photogrammetry C1 I made by mirroring the half that was completely scanned, and I still miss a lot of details, but the reason for wanting to be able to also make photogrammetry models is that I want to be sure about the overall shape of my models. As you can see, even though most of it is the same, especially the transverse processes (the “wings”) have a slightly different orientation. I need to redo the scan to be sure if I need to remodel the modeled C1. I added another scan made with agisoft with the same set of photos. The scan is totally different somehow, not only in the details but also in the larger features. (and yes, I’m a perfectionist..) Edit: added yet another version with agisoft. Used 514 photos and mirrored one half. It’s getting better, even without image stacking. A few years ago I was asked by PK (aka King Deluxe) to contribute something to his VRChat world called The Land of Ooo, which was based on the cartoon TV series Adventure Time. For reasons I still can’t quite fathom I volunteered to take on creating Finn and Jake’s entire Tree Fort inside and out! I completed the model but unfortunately other work commitments at the time meant I wasn’t able to texture it, so it was left up to other artists to finish it off. This cool weapon design was created during a game development with very interesting gameplay. It’s not a real weapon. With it you can change the gravitational alignment in a room in order to walk on walls or ceilings. This enables clever puzzles to be solved. My job was to create the pure mesh. For various reasons, no classic high poly / low poly was built for texture bakes and the final mesh was textured directly.
