The station was opened along with the opening of the Moscow-Sergiev Posad railway in 1862, 30 km from the Yaroslavl station. It got its name from the neighboring ancient village. The opening of the station was the reason for the emergence of the dacha village of Pushkino in 1867. The brick station building that has survived to this day was built around 1897 to replace a small one-story building. Moszna Castle is a beautiful example of eclectic architecture located in the small village of Moszna in southwestern Poland. It was built in the 18th century, although traces of older cellars have been discovered in the gardens.
The central part of the castle is an old Baroque palace, which was partially destroyed by fire in 1896 and reconstructed in the same year by Franz Hubert von Tiele-Winckler. The height of the castle and the numerous turrets and spires give the impression of verticalism, and the whole castle contains exactly ninety-nine turrets.
