October Sculpting Challenge 2022 ❗NOT RIGGED, VERY ROUGH MAXIMO RIG PRESENT PLANNING ON RIGGING IN THE FUTURE PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND WHEN PURCHASING❗️ Decided to attempt a more detailed sculpt for this month, particularly focusing on wrinkles and organic detailing. Originally was planning on practicing simple hard surface techniques by creating a deer’s skull, but decided to take it further and create the famous Native American cryptid, the Wendigo. Also took the opportunity to learn how to better use and implement hair cards, although it does bump up the tri count a tad. My attempt at making something close to OceanGate Titan Submersible, which was tragically lost after it went missing on the 18th June 2023. The US Coast Guard’s findings explained that it had imploded and the crew had been instantly killed. The Titan was doomed from the beginning, with unusual practise during its construction and made with crude materials. The Titan was an experimental submersible, and was not officially certified.
